A crow left of the past
static distortion, melodic screens of corruption, power and political America. This is what I feel as i listen to a crow left of the murder by the experimental rock, alternative band, incubus. It starts with megalomaniac. A slow start with cloudy noises of the end of the world. It builds with a dark apocalyptic guitar and drum beat until a beautiful breakdown. Brandon sings gracefully high and low about worldy deception and modern piracy.
They expanded their sound a lot with this album. It's a lot more experimental, classic hard rock and punk. From jamming riffs to soaring melodic acoustic beats, they blend it perfectly. Mike's solo on sick sad little world will touch you soul like no other song will. It tells a story of the darkest and deepest place we go to inside. I call it a darker and gritter science and make yourself. One thing about incubus is no one sounds like them and neither so any of their albums. Full of emotion and soulful revelations.
A rebirth of the past. A album that makes you realize that a murder can be anything and that it is a good thing sometimes. The crow is the murderer of your life, your experience. To be free, we must let it go.
